#Difficulty modifiers aren't actually granting players more experience

After completing a stage in single player, I was taken to the results screen which showed that I had gained 22,500 experience. This caused my player level bar to fill by about 40%. (see attached screenshot)

After completing a match in multiplayer, I was taken to the results screen which showed that I had gained 13,500 experience. This caused my player level bar to increase by about 75%. (see attached video)

My single player exp gave me about 1.77% of a level per 1000 xp.
My multiplayer exp gave me about 5.5% of a level per 1000 xp.

This means my multiplayer experience was about 3x more valuable than my single player experience. Since my single player experience was adjusted by a 3x difficulty multiplier, I'm guessing that the multiplier is broken and only applies to the number shown, but not the amount actually applied to the exp bar.

This issue may only be affecting player experience, and not parking pass experience. I wasn't able to tell for sure from my sample here since I didn't see where my single player experience started before the first screenshot.

Here are the results of my next single player stage, after the above multiplayer match. Clearly the 6x multiplier made no difference in how much actual progress was gained. Also, it looks like the issue does affect both experience bars after all (player level and parking pass).

Hey @leaden cave, thanks for reporting! We'll be investigating this issue and come back to you once we know what's going on

The total experience values shown on the player career page doesn't seem to add up properly either, which seems like it may be related.
Here is what mine shows right now:

In the video I posted originally you can see that you earn around ~13000 exp for a multiplayer win. At 15 wins, I should be somewhere around 200k exp, but my career page says I've earned only 66000.
Even if we just look at the 480 parked cars and ignore placement rewards, at 250 points each the reward should already be 480 * 250 = 120,000 points, well above the 66,000 shown.
