I stopped playing after losing all my progress by deleting the game and re-installing it (I had obtained platinum in the pre-parkour release). It's been more than a year and steam cloud is still not implemented. I was willing to play but I won't waste my time for progress that will be deleted.
P.S. It may be difficult (idk really) but consider it's an asset to keep for future games. Please do it!

At this point it's extremely unlikely to happen, since the game is no longer being updated (aside from the custom tiers being added every couple weeks or so
The best you can do is to back up the save file manually

The myself version from 1-2 years from now will never remember in which cloud or where it's backupped, that's why there's the thing created for the purpose, the steam cloud
