So there's a red band in the map editor that is there to indicate the zone where you can place objects, but I feel like the band itself doesn't need to be that large and when you're placing stuff near the borders, it's pretty much hiding a part of your object. My suggestion is that there should at least be an option to make the red band just a red outline.
