This is a suggestion to rebalance troop unlocking and troops has a whole. The goal of this rebalance is to not only make all troops able to be used regardless of how high you climb, but also give room for devs to create new troops for the game, which can create new strategies.

The current system we have right now feels free, but also clunky and complex the more troops that get introduced. After all, it would be very annoying if I had to have to get a troop to level 5 to get a troop to level 5 to get a troop to level 5 to get a troop to level 5 just to unlock a troop.

Instead of troop level requirements for unlocking new troops, you will need to upgrade the Armory to unlock new troops. It will cost mana to upgrade and you will typically only unlock 1 troop. A rough concept of this can be found in the image below.

Instead of having a max level of 5 across all the troops, the max level can be whatever the devs see fit depending on how strong the defenses get overtime. For example, a troop with already strong stats won’t need a lot of levels, but a troop with weaker stats like Guardians will need more levels to compensate for the stronger defenses you will encounter along the way.

With all of this in mind, I believe there should be at least one troop introduced with each Town Hall upgrade. It’s odd that the max Town Hall level is 25, but there are only 12 troops and who knows how many heroes.

Anyway, that’s how and why troops, troop unlocking, and troop levels need to be rebalanced. Hope you guys implement this in the future
