By looking at other support tickets and websites I was able to get the flat resolution good but the surface one is still very pixelated

I think I managed to get the flat one right because when checking the width of a fully zoomed block it was 128x which is same as in the flat resolution I wanted

ah yes you need to setup the boost areamarker

hidden raft

oh okay Iwill try this thank you :)
I was really getting confused why the thing worked for one but not the other

I will do it now and tell you how it goes

#

uhh okay so assumably that worked but fullrender isnt doing anything anymore

#

like nothing is happening

#

good news though is that the render quality is now up to bar

#

oh nvm

#

its rendering

#

I didnt realize its THIS slow lmao

pulsar drum
#

are you on default render speed settings?

renderaccelerateinterval: .001 tiles-rendered-at-once: 10 maxchunkspertick: 400 parallelrendercnt: 10 fullrenderplayerlimit: 0 per-tick-time-limit: 200 fullrender-min-tps: 5 (configuration.txt) here the server has 10 cores, change the parallelrenderct to the amount of cores you have. Next do /dynmap pause all, restart and finally do /dynmap pause none.

oh I can just make it faster? Okay cool :o

#

For the record
are we talking about proper cores or threads
this server has a 5 5600x which has 6 cores / 12 threads
11 given to the minecraft server

pulsar drum
#

threads are what is talked about above

hidden raft
#

alright

hidden raft
#

thanks for the settings
much fsater now
obv not lightning fast but better than like 5 mins for 100 tiles or whatever it was
still not sure if its actually working properly cuz the render on the site looks pretty small but I think thats just because its doing it so slow and stuff

pulsar drum
#

yeah the render of high resolutions was always slower, clockspeed matters the most here, or if you have a 64core cpu then you can also do it that way

#

just a verification, can you send over your new configuration.txt?

pulsar drum

looks good! some people forget some # infront of some settings which make them not apply

hidden raft
#

ah okay
I do feel like I'm going insane cuz it had rendered 92900 tiles but it honestly looks just as big as it looked like 20k tiles ago

fullrender renders all chunks of a world regardless of the state it is in
