Block's render method must support transparency.
Paint alpha channel of your texture a color, set alpha to 0.
Alpha channel in color map is not ignored for PBR, even if it isn't directly. displayed in-game.
Add emissivity to the same pixels.
You can examine Vault block in Vanilla RTX as an example.
