I just started DS3 like today and I have made it through Faron keep to the Abyss watcher duo and just cant beat them

spring gale
#

The same way you beat the bosses before them

forest ridge
#

thats not very helpful

spring gale
#

Optionally, you can learn the moveset

forest ridge
#

You do that for every boss

spring gale
#

It isn't necessary in souls games

#

But if that's what you're doing then there shouldn't be an issue

forest ridge
#

Its quite hard to dodge 2 at once

spring gale
#

There is a third one that attacks the other two

forest ridge
#

I never reached that point in the fight I die to fast

#

Ok i go to that part but he just dies then i die

Attack the other 2 while the one that helps you is alive

cant beat a famously easy ds3 boss

#

cant make this stuff up

Elden Ring and its consequences have been a disaster for the Souls community

They have an extremely low HP value and are able to be backstabbed

#

Oh and they have like no poise

forest ridge
#

Well sellsowrd twinblades don't seem to do much poise damage

neon tangle
#

They don’t but they have like the highest raw DPS of anything in the game. Are you trying this before doing Cathedral of the Deep?

forest ridge
#

I have no clue what cathedral of the deep is😁

Find that first. Get more levels. Entrance is in Crucifixion Woods

People who figure out shit like no roll 1 stamina boss kills impress me to this day

#

But I feel like if you made a player that was the grand average of everything ever

#

I feel like you'd get an okay-ish player that begs for souls and gets mad if you refuse

#

That most likely dislikes (not strongly) DS2 and holds DS3 or ER (i can't decide) as the greatest game in the history of games

#

What do you think about this

neon tangle
#

An okay-ish player wouldn’t beg for souls

I think in order to be considered okay-ish, someone has to be able to beat the game without all those extra souls. Like if someone was “okay” at the game I think they’d be comfortable without them

warm sluice
#

Strictly speaking begging for souls doesnt diminish your skill

#

Someone could be the most brilliant player ever and still ask for souls

#

Nice shara pfp btw

neon tangle
#

I don’t even get why anyone would ask for souls. You get more than enough just playing the game, and it isn’t like farming them is hard. Ig if you’re trying to get to max level for whatever reason it’s kind of your only efficient option

I think shara is awesome

Best advice I can give as I did revisit playthrough of the game is once the other gets up, I would just try to keep your distance until another one pops up. The other one with red eyes can damage both you and the boss so he's helpful and would recommend not killing him if you want to make things easier. Now of course you can try to find openings and kill the other guy before he pops up but since you clearly having hard time with him, just keep your distance until he gets involved and focused on the Abyss watcher you get. Rinse and repeat until you kill him.

The boss isn't hard to fight against but cool boss in my books.

the majority of people asking for souls started the game less than 10 minutes prior to asking

Where soul farming is perhaps the most meaningless in the whole series

#

Ds1 has brightness dupe, levelling is piss cheap in ds2, elden ring can be broken with a chicken wing, a string, 6 talismans and some gum wrapper

austere aspen

Or did that get patched

Its just far more useless in ds3
