Is it normal to get oneshot by a host from max hp? (40 vigor and nothing reducing my resistances) first time it was a crystal soul spear and I assumed I just got chunked by something beforehand without noticing but the next time I had some projectile thrown at me by the same guy and the bleed not only procced instantly but instantly reduced me to 0 hp once again from full - doesnt seem to be weird netcode stuff either because the damage occurs as it visibly connects

Wondering if it’s hacks or some crazy buffing before I invaded, or smth else

I didnt see many hackers when I play but this sounds like he is cheating

At first I was impressed bc I assumed oh that’s one spicy soulspear but what looked lime a single throwing dagger was crazy

Ah so it’s a common one? - only other cheater I encountered was someone who could not take damage at all (and this wasnt a netcode issue) except for environmental damage from falling and such, just gotta hope anticheat catches them eventually or smth

Because in ds1 you dont encounter cheats

You just encounter maxed out pyro builds that are so low level that they will one shot anyone at their level

Spells dont cost stamina in ds1

So you just go dex attunement vigor endurance and dont even rlly need that much to be a monster
