#Siriss is gone

So I am on my first playthrough ever of the game, and I wish to collect em all rings.
I saw I gotta do sth with this lovely woman named Siriss, I saw her once or twice in the Firelink Shrine, but never since.
I did not talk to her yet, and I know I have to to progress in her quests I assume? not sure, I was watching a video.
I already talked to the two knights on the Road of Sacrifices bonefire, I got the invite thingy from them.
I was reading online why I cannot find Siriss, and all I found was that I mustn't join a covenant which I haven't even unlocked yet. (I am currently at the boss of this area)
Is there something I misread/ messed up? I honestly dont know anymore :/ I'd be really glad if someone knew whats up.

I did everything it requires. She is not in the shrine. tried resetting a lot, anything, she aint there. I saw her a few times, but didnt care a lot back then. Thats literally why I asked what I could've done wrong

Cleared all of this swamp, got mostly everything, collected all rings till this point excluding the ones needing quest.
Can access, but havent defeated Abyss watchers yet
