what gear should i use for knight?

just finished exploring the cathedral of the deep (did not beat the boss yet), what gear should i get or farm/where?

You can find the astora great sword and executioners great sword in the early area with the zombies

Those are pretty good great swords

You can farm the grave wardens for their twinblades which are alright

The black knights at the top of the cathedral as well

Claymore > Executioner's (and is earlier)
Zweihander > Astora Greatsword (and can be available earlier)
Sellswords > Warden Twinbaldes (and no rng)

Claymore is in High Wall of Lothric where the Wyvern is breathing fire
Zweihander can be purchased from a merchant that you find in High Wall of Lothric after a couple steps in his questline; look up "Greirat"
Sellswords are in Crucifixion Woods behind a Black Knight

Broadsword is another strong weapon that can be found in High Wall, just before the room with all of the large hollows, dogs, and explosive barrels

Executioner Greatsword drops from one of the NPC enemies in Crucifixion Woods

all of those weapons are strong/relevant through the entire game and found within the early parts of the game

gear is kinda very dependant on your playstyle/what moveset you prefer. if you want to bis while still having that knight feel you should run broadsword with a black knights shield (although honestly shields arent very usefull in pve)

from a purely fashion standpoint there is weapons that suit knights alot more than other all though they aren't really best in slot. some cool knight weapons would be the lance (found in dragon barracks) the lurcene (found in high wall) and the lothric knight sword (dropped by lothric knights)

mostly all weapons are viable for pve so use whatever you would like
