Hi, so after reading the wiki a bit, i saw that greirat can die on the second outing. but here's how i did everything, in order. before sending greirat on the second outing i already killed Pontiff and Aldrich. but now that i knew he could be saved (and his death not being up to rng chance), i read a little bit more and saw that you need to save siegward from the well first, so i got trapped in the tower on purpose and didn't forgive patches afterwards. then i bought siegwards armor and returned it to him in the well. and just now, i read a bit more and found out that if you kill pontiff after sending greirat on the second misson he dies. but pontiff was already dead long ago, so what happens now? next time i kill a boss i assume greirat is going to be able to be found dead somewhere, but is it even worth trying to save him now? does it even work? please help

i have also already been to the irithyll dungeon before sending greirat on the second scavenging trip. i just don't remember when i got there in relation to everything else i did. but i did do it before getting trapped in the tower by patches. playing the whole day takes a toll on your memory it seems
