So i just recently started soul of cinder after nameless king, I heard you have to dodge to the left but im so used to dodging to the right due to nameless king. Most of the time I can barely pass phase 1 even without finishing my estus, even if I do get to phase 2, his attacking patterns are too abnormal because I don’t get there often, pls help

Grass crest shield for stamina
Estus ring
Faith ring
Chloranthy ring
Ring of favor

Either farm to get more souls or dodge left

So, Soul of Cinder is a pretty complex boss, so don’t feel too bad about struggling with him. I recommend you watch a few challenge run kills from some other players to get an idea of the general strategy for each phase.

This one requires a minimal knowledge of the boss’s moveset and AI compared to modern strategies and so I think it’s pretty accessible to mimic in a casual playthrough.
I also think that should you get a good understanding of phase 1, phase 2 should not be too awful.
The big issue with phase 2 is that it just kinda… sucks.
