I have a maxed black knight sword and I feel that 548 damage on a charged r2 is a little low. I’ve been using other swords but can’t seem to find much that is better than the black knight sword help?

Infuse it and get to 40 of your main damage stat

So if you're a heavy build use 40 strength, infuse sword with heavy

I used the R2 attack a lot in other games, but barely used it in DS3. Seemed way to slow and draining. R1 all the way.

have you tried lothric knight greatsword or even lothric knight short sword? the short sword has good dps becaue of how quickly you can swipe

The lothric knight greatsword is absolutely busted though
If you infuse it with blessed and pump str/fth you can achieve AR in the 800s
