I make a new character and go to the Tower BF and Leonhard is already gone. Any idea why?

Tower on the wall bf

So you have already met him?

I talked to him and got the cracked orbs

Then he either left when I beat Vordt or got to Tower on the Wall BF

Ok so what's the issue

Whyd he leave

I need to do his quest but I can't get the red eye orb to continue it

I even went to go get a pale tongue and he wasn't there

So have you gotten a pale tongue

And he is still gone
