Any tips on choosing a weapon/build to stick with? Im in irithyll of the boreal valley, floating between the longsword and pontiff knight curved sword with a quality build because i want mobility but also good damage, i tried astora greatsword but longsword simply has better dps and i see no point in using it, and I genuinely dont know what to pick and im stuck feeling like there are better options and its draining the fun out of the game for me. i can tell its a really well made game, but its immensely overwhelming and i need advice

if you're strictly looking for what is most optimal then reallocating to dex and using sellswords is what you should do
broadsword is not far behind sellswords if you prefer the straight sword moveset, also best on dex

I would use the sellswords but ive heard that they shred bosses and all of pve and i dont really want to take away from the experience i guess
