How do I do arena duels.

I want to duel people and I have seen people doing it on YouTube but I couldn't find any information on how to do it myself

Right after pontiff there is an area

Also in the early game people do duels in high wall

you need to be embered and summon another layer (most people are right after the pontiff bonfire) also you can play undead match buy you don't get/lose souls or items in it (you need to unlock it first via the dlc)
