His eye is also a weak point. You can block any of his physical attacks that don't come straight from above to avoid damage (including snow waves. Poison, rot and black flame will all whittle him down at a very steady pace, but he's obviously very resistant to fire

If you’re still having trouble, you might need to just reconsider your build, if you don’t have enough vigor you will get shit on no matter how many times you play fg if you’re on sl1, go do some farming and respec
