After I connect, there's a random amount of time before it automatically disconnects (the usb is still detected) and shows the connection timeout in my headset. The only log that coimes out of this is (os error 10053).

When I mean random time, I mean that it can disconnect nearly instantly, or be a bit before it does, like I can play in the game (no lag, no visual distortion, no nothing) and then randomly disconnect for no reason except os error 10053-sometimes I can even play for hours until it happens, but that's really rare.
Alongside the OS error 10053, it says;
An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine
Do note for anyone wondering, it isn't due to my microphone or speaker, they are both disabled, and I never plan to use them.

but it seems like reinstalling it worked for me

Try disabling the mic, for some reason for some of us that's the thing breaking it
