I get this error in a quick flash at the bottom when I start SteamVr
Failed to unblock ALVR driver: /home/icarus/.local/share/Steam/config/steamvr.vrsettings does not exist

And when it connects, my Quest 2 Headset only shows black, but the Steam's Vr view shows the game responding to my headset

I've been working on this for hours and cannot find a solution

#

I tried low and lowest resolution.
I tried H264, HEVC and AV1..
I don't know what else to do

#

oh

#

my brain is a lil fried..

I just turned my Vr off about when you replied.. I was about to give up

#

Let me set it back up

#

well I'll be damned

I am going to cry.. Hours spent on this... because of a missing command line.

It worked

#

the warning is still there

#

it worked

just..

I'm not really savy with Linux.. so not everything I do is super orthodox

#

Ex: I used Root to make a single folder in my C: drive accessable by Icarus Group.. so now I need to re-enable that drive via Steam Setting/Storage whenever I start it up to be able to play games installed there

#

I'm here if I can help figure things out.. I'm just happy it works rn

#

this is all Linux

#

Maybe? I'm not super savy with Linux folders yet

#

Oh! an issue with ALVR I had previously was doing the same thing with ALVR, as you might see ALVR in the same folder as SteamGames..
I don't use that ALVR folder, I should delete it.. I have ALVR currently in Downloads

#

I have no idea what those are and they frighten me ^^"

#

oh, only just saw that

#

no response?

#

🙃

#

my brain feels so fried rn

#

totes, I love helping out the Linux community

#

Eventually, I'll feel like a lot less of a neanderthal with Linux, but right now.. that's how I feel.. Learning is hard

#

oh, should I try Monado instead of SteamVr?
