#I can't start SteamVR via ALVR

Hello, I have windows 11, Quest 3 and the streamer v20.12.1. When the streamer tries to start SteamVR I get this message :

SteamVR settings cannot then be opened on the Windows desktop.I would be very grateful for any help. I have uninstalled and installed SteamVR (beta, other versions), ALVR Streamer and the latest drivers from NVidia

download alvr launcher, extract it correctly - use that (ie do not run alvr itself directly)

if you dont extract and run alvr correctly it will cause problems like you have

well I unpacked it with winrar. what do you mean by not directly? I also installed the new Infuse tool via steam, where the same message appears

windows will suggest to run the exe from inside the archive, which doesnt work
