u need to configure steamvr - by running it at least once so it does the first time init

as in launch steamvr from steam

and have steamvr installed

got it, i needed the deb package from the steam website

eh yes you do need steam as well lol

dont bother trying vr until u test normal steam games

that means nothing, follow proper steam install instructions for ur distro
