I was wondering if there is a way to keep instead of removing the ALVR audio source on Linux?
I understand it's a per session thing but it's a bit of a hassle to set the microphone every time I have to livestream or even go AFK when livestreaming.

Just a curiosity if that is possible.

Yeah, but OBS doesn't do that

#

It's more of like

#

I need it to capture the ALVR microphone very specifically

#

if the AVLR virtual gets removed when I turn off the headset, it'll reset to the default mic before that

#

yeah, but do I really have to set it up to capture ALVR's Microphone every time or is there an ID I can just set a loopback to point to?

#

good point, was hoping not to dive into the terminal or scripting to get into it

#

yeah, I'll see if I can set one up

#

I meant bash script

#

not part of OBS

#

I can probably make an auto start script instead when launching OBS
