ALVR not finding steamVR, and when it does it restarts steamVR and can't find it again

Yep, tried everything on that page that applies to my issues, nothing worked

Adding "~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/SteamVR/bin/vrmonitor.sh %command%" to the steamVR launch options, and trying a different launcher

Distro: EndevaourOS
DE: Gnome
CPU: i7-2600
GPU: Nvidia GT1030

Really low-end system but I heard that it could run some really low end VR games, i'm just trying to experement with it

Ive launched steamVR with the top command, didnt work, then I disabled my iGPU from my BIOS, then opened steamVR but it still wont work, I just get 3 blank windows open and the steamVR thingy at the bottom of my screen. The steamVR settings page wont even open so I can re-enable the ALVR server addon

ive tried on windows the app wont even launch im giving up at this point it dosent matter that much
