I'm using wired and a Quest 3. ALVR was installed via zip. Using ASUS laptop with 3090. worked before, doesn't work now.

Odd new thing: It's working just fine now. If it happens again, I'll see what was done differently.

I've discovered the issue: After using ALVR once, I sometimes need to reset ADBForwarder.exe if I run it another time. This is not much of a hassle as it doesn't even take 30 seconds to do. It may also just be a quirk with my laptop specifically.

Nevermind, it just doesn't work sometimes at seemingly random.

#

It worked literally 1 hour ago and now doesn't. still claiming OS error 11.

#

If anyone has any idea why, please help.

It seems I can only start ALVR reliably if I restart my laptop in between sessions.

The cable is USB-C 3.0 and hasn't given me trouble when I used other software. It may just be a weird cache issue but I'm not sure how that could be fixed.

#

Looks like I'll have to do that anyway because my cat threw up on my cable.

I have 2 other cables I'll test with, one being the charging cord that came with the Quest 3.
