- Platform: Windows
- Headset: Pico 4, latest official firmware for global
- Installation method: The new laucher you guys just added :p I had the problem on 2.0.8.1 but am still having the same issue on 2.0.9.1 (I updated hoping this would solve the issue)
- Gpu: RTX 4080 SUPER
- Laptop/Pc: PC
- Alvr logs: lost for now (this last happened yesterday and I closed the app since. I can attempt to reproduce the issue if needed)
- session.json: (attached)
- picture captured using Pico 4's built-in screenshot button (same area with and without the glitch). This artifact doesn't appear on VRChat's camera and using SteamVR's screenshot feature (ignore the red area, that's not glitched, just necessary post editing, focus on the white area on the ocean as well as in the buildings)
Hey everyone, I'm getting some stange artifacts accumulating on the picture of my Pico when staring at a still image for long enough. The artifacts can be cleared by restarting the apk, or mitigated by switching the image up (like passing my arm over the glitching region in VRChat). The glitching region seems to be anchored to 3D space and follows the glitchy geometry when I move my head instead of remaining in screen space
I've noticed that the artifacts appear whenever my wifi network gets unstable, or when my game freeze for a few second (the avatar switching lag in VRChat is enough to trigger this issue). The artifact appearing isn't in itself a problem, but whichever visual glitch happens as a result of any of those circumstances carries over and accumulates over time, until the entire picture is washed away in artifacts. The issue is less frequent when the picture is in motion during the glitch, but significantly worse on high-detail, still areas
