#Microphone not working with VB Audio and Voicemeeter installed

I have a problem where my quest 2 Microphone is not streaming to my computer and I'm pretty sure it's because I have VB Audio and Voicemeeter banana installed at the same time, I need both of these for very niche audio issues so uninstalling either isn't an option for me,

is there a way of fixing this?
I've tried each headset microphone preset, as well as every combination of Audio Cables available

I have both VB cable and VB cable VoiceMeeter installed and my stuff works fine, you may have an issue else where

make sure your mic isn't muted inside of the headset on the quick menu (it's a whole lot more common then you think) also set your mic in ALVR to the VB cable device
