Is it possible to use the Valve Index controllers without SteamVR dongles?

I've heard that it's possible if you have a Valve Index headset but I don't know if this is true or how this works

You can use knuckles with index without dognles because index itself acts as one.

the apple vision pro doesnt have a dongle included, so if you dont have a basestation tracked headset or dongles, you just cant use them

I have a headset and base stations

just plug the headset in via usb, but not display port. Basestation tracked headsets have 2 slots to connect controllers, so it should just pick them up, but you might need to manually pair them

I had some issues with getting the chaperone hounds enabled and teleporting around as I tried this last night. Any idea why that doesn’t work? @ember hamlet
