Cant install ALVR on Quest 3 | ALVR | Page 1

I have been trying for hours to install the ALVR apk on my new Quest 3. i followed all instructions, set my quest to developer mode etc. Sidequest tells me there is a version of sidequest installed on the Quest, but i cant see it in the apps, so i am dubious as to what is happening. I tried several methods of getting the APK to the quest from using the link in the tutorial (which only tells me it is sending the apk to sidequest, but nothing happens), moved the apk over manually and opened it (using Mobile VR Station, because otherwise it would not show up in the filebrowser), It did "something" but there is no ALVR app installed anywhere. I am completely lost at this point

well using mobile VR Station i can acces the android subfolders and there is an ALVR folder

i tried opening the apk again and it asked me if i wanted to update the existing one, so i did. now it asked me if i wanted to start the app and i said yes, but nothing happened (except mobila vr station crashing)

that was the solution. i havent seen it mentioned ANYWHERE that you have to look under unknown apps
