the UI has seen a complete rework since that video, the options are still there, just part of the huge list that is the current version of settings

#

Instead of "stage (room centered)" now you set position and rotation recentering modes to disabled

#

you do

#

it has to be connected to be able to send controller data

#

That means you need to use a matching client version to whichever ALVR server you're using

#

don't worry that there isn't a .apk that says it's for quest anymore, the one .apk that's in new versions' release pages is for all standalone headsets, including quest.

#

if you're using a nightly build, you want to download the matching nightly .apk

#

looks good I think

#

They're the "Vive Tracker Pro"s

#

I think you should be able to get both calibrated with just one

#

they share the same tracking space so calibrating one should align both

#

oh, it might help if you set the target space to something

#

reference space is the space you want to calibrate off of (HTC Vive and controllers) target space is the one you want to calibrate (ALVR's tracking space)

#

the right hand side of this screenshot, there's a dropdown at the top, you click on that to set the tracking space, then select one of the ALVR devices on that side, while selecting one of the Vive devices on the left side

#

when calibrating you move the two selected devices around together in sync

#

yes

#

I've heard that figure 8s are supposed to be the best pattern to move them in

#

huh

#

so there are no other tracking spaces?

#

maybe... try just letting the quest controllers be quest controllers?

#

๐Ÿ˜…

#

I'll admit I've only done 75% of this process, instead of using Quest controllers as trackers, I was using Quest controllers with a WMR headset

#

Maybe it's the "Enable vive tracker proxy"?

#

are there any more tracker spaces available?

#

in the target space dropdown

#

huh

#

well that device is the headset

#

maybe if you do the calibration with the headset? as cumbersome as it is that might possibly do it

#

between one of the vive wands and the headset

#

you moved the headset and vive wand together in sync?

#

they should snap together then

#

I'm not sure I have the auxiliary knowledge to help you beyond this point. Sorry! At least you got something? ๐Ÿ˜
