Hi!

I have a user that received a keyboard from me that I recorded the firmware. Now she is trying to flash again the firmware in the controller (that is a dongle) but is having a problem:

After entering boot mode, she copies the file and pastes it in the NICENANO folder, but the folder closes before it aparently flashes and gets a "non-existent repository" error.

Also, she said that most of the times the folder closes even before she can copy and paste the firmware in it!

She is using a lenovo ideapad with ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS.

The thing is that this is the second controller that I send to her that has the same problem in her hands. But I did record it without problems.

What can it be? feels like OS related or maybe the controller got damaged?

Oh man thanks! I will take a look. I was so overwhelmed about it that I forgot to check the docs!

She will try again to do the process later

I guess that when she says that "sometimes the folder appears and disappears fast" is because of debounce in the reset button

I find weird that she says that the dongle's screen does not turn on. I would guess because the firmware did not get flashed correctly

it would be worthwhile to write what was happening, so future visitors doing the same mistake can find it.
