Encoders in Sofle with dongle not working | ZMK | Page 1

Hi, I have a Sofle with dongle + encoders but the encoder is not working, only the pressing works 😦

Can someone have a quick look why? here is the repo.

I am using EC12 (that should be compatible with EC11 from what I know)

I tried to add the config specified in the encoders docs to my dev branch but it still doesnt work

Any help pleeeeease?

Existing support for encoders in ZMK is focused around the five pin EC11 rotary encoder with push button design used in the majority of current keyboard and macropad designs.

Try adding these lines to your sofle_dongle.overlay

Now it (almost) working!!!!

The encoders works, but both of them are adjusting volume instead of the left one being volume and right one pgup/pgdown

Do you know why?

Just a little tip to make your config work more easily with other dongle boards, for the dongle shield you can remove the a-gpios and b-gpios, this has the effect of still telling your dongle about the encoders, but without tying it to a particular board type (pro-micro in this case)
