I'm working with split Kyria boards. I'd love to be able to distinguish between which volume is related to which split so I can have both boards connected at the same time. Is this possible?

I don't think it's possible without a custom bootloader for each board.
You probably will only have one of them in bootloader mode at the same time anyway.
