Hello there, I have a Ferris Sweep keyboard with two nice!nanos in each half.
What happened:
- Keyboard was connected over USB
- Coffee spilled
- I turned power switch off and disconnected USB
- Removed keys, removed liquids with cloth, left it drying for a while
Current behavior:
- When I connect keyboard to PC over USB, device is not recognized. lsusb/xinput is empty.
- Keys not working, ZMK reset key does nothing
- Shorting RST to GND enters bootloader as expected, bootloader recognized by PC, able to flash
Hints:
- I flashed right halve with left halve firmware and it's working as expected: recognized by PC and sends keys
What I tried:
- Reinstalled firmware
- Went through ZMK troubleshoot guide, flashed reset settings firmware
- Reinstalled bootloader on nice!nano
Any idea how I could troubleshoot the problem further?
Maybe there is a tool that can diagnose USB issues?
Can it behave like this because some pins are still shorted (I have a multimeter and can verify)?
Thanks in advance.
