Recently purchased an EPL in hopes it would be able to consistently detect the number of people in bed. Right now, it is very inconsistently even able to keep track of just me laying here. Not sure if I am missing something in my configuration, but I believe I have done the basics needed for this to work properly. Latest firmware, configured and synced through configurator. I am trying to attach screenshots of my logbook and config, but Discord is not seeming to let me. But in the past ten minutes of two of us laying in bed, it has gone on and off with occupancy detected about 8 times and gone back and forth between 0, 1, and 2 targets detected. Anyways as for the issue, yes the EPL is not really designed for static presence in that way. it's designed for zones. The EP1 does much better at static presence and is really good for sleeping. That said, have you tried the new assumed presence feature? It will try to keep your last known position active unless you leave through an exist zone

But I have not tried that feature, could you point me to where I can learn how to set that up? I do have my zones detecting me well as well as the entry zones but it would be ideal to be able to have it know that I am still in bed if possible. Thanks!

If you already have entry zones setup, you need to toggle the "Entry Exit Enabled" switch which will turn this on. You will also find the "Assumed Presence Timeout" value, default is 15s, recommend for sleeping to crank this up to 10 minutes (going to make this larger with a firmware update soon)

I am facing similar issue. but entry and the exclusion zones are not getting saved despite all zones and entities being enabled.
