Hi everyone,

I recently bought a house and I'm looking to upgrade the lighting in my living room. Currently, there are 2 hanging lights that are dimmable, controlled by 2 wall knobs. Each knob can be clicked to turn on the light and rotated to dim it.

I've opened one of the light housings and found a few wires:

A thick green wire connected to the housing

1 black wire connected to L

2 black wires connected to N

3 red wires bundled together and connected to each other

I want to replace the current setup with Aqara Ceiling Light T1M and H1 (no neutral) double rocker smart switches. These Switch models have a decoupled mode which doesn’t toggle the power but triggers actions (like telling the light to turn off).

I’m unsure about the proper wiring given the current setup with multiple wires, especially since they are dimmable. I am including a few pictures of the current wiring and the expected wiring according to the Aqara light manual.

Any advice on how to properly wire these new smart lights and switches? Thanks for your help!

i would post some pictures if i knew how

I think you may need one for neutral but I am not electrician
