As per my email regarding potential further diagnostics, I have been testing a wide range of setting combinations on mmWave Distance, On Latency, and Sensitivity as well as locations within the room (desk, bookcase, wall shelf) to tune the Presence detection. I have tried settings to a minimum sensitivity and with no one in the house, the mmWave still presents as 'Detected'.
Current firmware installed: 2023.4.2
I am not sure if it is at all a related issue, the mmWave LED switch appears to have no effect, whilst the ESP32 Status LED does result in a noticeable red light.
Is there any further advanced diagnostics I can carry out to determine if the mmWave sensor is functioning correctly?
Help greatly appreciated.

Hello! So you mean that toggling the mmWave led doesn't do anything?
That was what I was observing... HOWEVER... in order to take some photos of the unit and the HA setup as examples, I took the cover off and reconnected the mmWave and PIR modules (which I had done previously), then when I turned on the LED setting, the light appeared on the mmWave circuit board. So I set about doing the sensitivity testing again, and voila, problem resolved! I can only think that at some point I had not correctly aligned the pins on the mmWave when I had then done the range of tests. In this case I had failed to validate an assumption, that being that I had re-checked the pin connections.
Possibly one for the FAQ - "if LED is not coming on or sensor reading is always on 'detected', check the pins connection".
