This is currently a test and not ready for primetime, but I wanna get feedback on it in it's current track list and the DJ tests I've recorded.
The plan is to make a station with a full, proper announcer, centered around the theme of a tinkerer with an obsession with old tech and open-sourced cyberware. much of what he does is very out-of-touch, but he plays good tunes.

Please let me know what you think! Tell me if some tracks need volume adjustments, which tracks might need to go, or make track suggestions! you can hunt for stuff on modarchive.org

I like the first one better but they are both great, honestly I need to get a good VA like them for my mod. I feel like the second one sounds more professional and the first is more of a friendly chill type of vibe. They'd both work great, just depends on the type of station you wanna make.

I have a fairly decent recording setup and I can push my voice in a bunch of different ways, so I don't really feel bad about listening to it here.

I was actually suprised by the Cy-Cor recording, it sounds way better than I expected? like I didn't think I could pull the tone off.

I have a friend helping me with writing for the DJ. He knows the tabletop game well and is very good at creating humor.

first one is his writing while the second was me adlibbing.

the station name is a joke about the first game Tim Sweeney made before changing the company name to Epic MegaGames.

going through and balancing the songs for the most part

some were ridiculously quite and others are slightly too loud

#

the good thing with this though is a chunk of the collection has already been balanced, and most don't need editing at all to fit.
