yes
idk, i've seen some menthods for installing linux old 32 bit bioses, but i just ended up getting some old linux installation cd's and used those lol
so using bootable pendrive is a hassle in this situation
well cd i can burn, any suggestions which distro will be the best
i know gentoo has a 32 bit version
that's if u wanna get messy ๐ณ
but debian also has a up to date 32 bit version
and there are less popular choices
although i doubt you'll get the cd to work first time, you need to do sum old bios fixes
you should emulate it first!
like testing on vmware?
Yup! Personally, I use virtualbox
yuh vb is better
personally i'd try emulating it first cause im more experienced at that
virtualbox also has some special options for different operating systems
do u need help with setting it up? @tardy forge
well i virtually used bodhi in similar specs, but while trynna install on 32bitSys, after selecting from ventoy, pc screen goes black
i like old
such as?
Vb is nice too
ventoy worked worse for me, loading it exclusively got me further in the menus before i got black screened ๐
it's been a long time since i quit on that rabbit hole, i dont have anything rn sorr
ohhh, so balenaETCHER?
bring the rufus
ok boss ๐ฆ
I'll try n let u know if worked, thanks a lot
i dont feel like i helped much but yw
OH BTW
i remembered there's like a legacy/efi bios check in rufus somewhere
i bet ticking that wouldn't be any harm
ok I'll keep in mind
@tardy forge update?
