✅ - tape wrinkles on paint

Hey so I was painting this helmit and taped a few parts off. Then when I peeled off the tape the paint looks all wrinkly anyone know how this happens or how I fix it? I tried acetone and goo gone but no luck! Do I have to sand and retype everything and try again?

I would sand and repaint, what you want to do with masking tape is stick it to your shirt one or twice before you apply to a freshly painted area

It removes the tack a bit

Ok I was hoping that wasn’t the case but thanks and I always will stick it on something dusty and my shirt and stuff to get it less sticky but I guess the paint didn’t cure enough
