(Sorry this is a repost because I accidentally closed the thread) Quick question: I’ve been using the soldering iron technique to meld prints together for the first time. I’ve been using an N95 respirators but I can still smell the plastic fumes. I’ve looked online some respirators but there were a lot of options that I wasn’t familiar with. I’ve also been doing this on the balcony so it’s well ventilated. Is there any recommendations on which respirators to use?

N95? That's not a respirator. Its just a little COVID mask, right? Its a particulate mask. Big particles like pollen and spit (that carries the germs). For smoke and vapor you need an actual respirator.
Gotcha, thank you so much!
Also, should I be worried if I was breathing in those plastic fumes for a short time?
Its not great for you. But "for a short time" probably means it wasn't any worse for you than going jogging on a busy road and breathing all that car exhaust.
