I’m thinking of making an elastic Renji sword where there are hollow blades
With squares inside of them ( not attached )
The squares will have elastic on them so they will be able to stretch out like his sword.
Then the blade would be in increments and would be spaced out properly
Then when I would hold the sword up the squares would be able to hide inside the blades making it look like the normal blade
Is this a good idea?

You might want to put some strong magnets in between the segment so they can stay together as a sword that way you can have both as sword and a slinky lol
Then you can't really see what holding them together and it looks more authentic imo

Theres a model of renji's zabimaru on cults3d. If i can i'll try to find it for you. It would take a bit of effort assembly wise. But it is totally possible
