I am having an issue with my extruder that I just can't figure out. My brand new sovol sv01 pro will hardly make it through a bench 1/3 times before my extruder "clogs" the picture attached shows the filament at an odd angle and that is because it just keeps pulling on the filament but no melted plastic will come out. The other is the filament after I pull it out. You can see it's bulged out and larger than it should be. So far I have tried lowering temp, raising temp, increasing retraction some, I've put in a new nozzle as well as tried different filament that has been dried. Any input that might lead me to a solution would be great, as I do not want to return this thing if I can help since I've heard sovol customer service can suck.

How did you clear the clog?

so far ive pulled the nozzle out, heated it up and put the needle through to clear it, ive also put an entirely new nozzle into it and the issue has persisted.

The clog can still be in the heat block. Changing nozzle and using needle doesnt guarantee to clear it

Try using the cold pull method.

You can find the guide easily pn youtube

cold pull done, filament came out very thin where it was in the heatblock. gonna try a benchy and will update if it clogs again or not.

cold pull was unsuccessful. The same issue happened where it clogged up and the filament just bottlenecked itself until it broke. any other suggestions?

Dod the cold pull come out clean?

The end should be shaped like a nozzle
