It’s 4:00 AM but luckily enough I woke up to hear spaghettification. The printer head went up too high so I immediately brought down the Z Offset/Height as much as it would let me in order for it to be able to print onto the structure again. It’s not even halfway through the full print and this has already happened so I won’t be able to lower it again. What can I do to lower it if I maxed out? I went from -2.20 to -5.00 just to let it catch up. Send help!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

aside from the layer shift and layer lines the print looks fine to me

#

could be faulty gcode, did you preview the print before sending it to the printer?

#

sometimes slicer can miss slice files

You know what, I think you’re right, now it’s printing pretty small on inside the perimeter of the perimeter (I’m printing cone like structures for Goku/Super Saiyan Hair)

#

If it decides to go up too high again, what can I do to lower it?? It’s Z-Offset was lowered as much it could let me already so if it decides to move too much again, it will not let me go back down

before you start your next print, make sure to adjust back the z-height to its initial value. if you run it with -5.00 the nozzle will crash into the bed when you run your print

It exposes the infill too

I would check the file, see if its properly sliced, you can preview the gcode that is in the sd card using cura
