So i recently started up my ender 5 plus and when I went to extrude the motor wouldn't turn, I tried replacing the wires, trying a different motor but it seems as though it may be the main board, has anyone had these problems before?

Did you heat the nozzle first?

silver juniper

Yes, I heated it to 215, and when I start a print the motor doesn't move

Switching motors doesn’t help. Have you switched motor cables to see?

silver juniper
#

Yes I've replaced the cables to it already

then your stepper driver on your board is dead

silver juniper

So I should replace the board to a silent one then?

if what you have done hasnt worked yes

Okay, thank you! I truly appreciate it, and also my ender 3 pro, when I go to prepare and move axis, none of the axis's move, same thing?

possible... but man if you keep firing stepper drivers you might have other issues

silver juniper

Well my ender 3 pro has been like that a long time I've had it for many years and it's been a work horse

still.. none of the axis move... thats odd

you have a firmware you accidentally load on it on your sd card

silver juniper

Yeah, I agree, so I'll re-download the firmware and check it
