Hey so I'm trying to add the back part of the helmet so I can get it on and off but I can't figure out what to do for it, does anyone have any recommendations so that I can easily get it on and off?

Easiest way would be wide elastic so you can stretch it open and it closes by itself, other options are Velcro or magnets.

I'm unsure what you mean like the dome piece or the back decoration with the hexes. For the dome magnets are great and there should be spots for them just watch your 👂 it sucks when the get pinched. Hope this helps

use piece of elastic band on top just above the slit on top of the hexagons on the backpiece, so it can open up an use velcro under the patches with hexagon at the back side to close it. you have about a cm to glue something on.
or make a bracket to put in the round ear thingy with a magnet and melt a magnet in each of tips with the hexagons that way you can alwys open it by lifting it up at the bottom.
to glue the band, use an exacto knife to make a few tiny slits in rubber band, glue it with epoxi, while stretch the rubbe, so epoxy also goes in the slits. some epoxy on top and let it cure, that will attach the rubber band firmly. the cut the band to length an glue it to the headpiece, so it's closed, leave like 2-3 cm between the seem of the printpieces so it can stretch when you open the back
