Needing help. I have a flsun super racer and I am having no luck with settings for using PETG. I'm currently using 80 deg on the bed 230 degrees on the nozzle. Fan at 50% and speed at 70%. Is there anyone that can help?

Can you show some photos of what’s going wrong?

@willow valve it starts off ok then when working on the infill it messes up. Petg starts to curl I've had it cover the hot end.

Reduced speed to 70% then 50% . Trying to make a hydroponic tower from thingiverse so it is not a complex file

50% of what? I’d try bumping temp up to 245 C. If that works, tune down the heat from there. Also, retraction settings?

If you’re messing with speed while it prints I wouldn’t recommend that, although you change the speed you don’t change the temps

50% of the speed. What kind of suggestions for retraction settings?. Been running 235 nozzle and 80 to 90 bed temp. BUT after the print fails several times plastic is covering the nozzle and higher is that a sign its to hot or to cold?

50% of what speed? Have you tried a temp tower?

Flsun super racer ive tried from 150 to 50

I’ve had infill issues with PETG as well, I think upping the temp would really help. Start at low speeds and start cranking things up once you get a workable profile.

Leveled it again and Switched to gyroid for infill and 85 deg on bed and 250 degrees on nozzle and got this. So I heated up the nozzle to 260 degrees print speed 60%

Ok, seems like its in a workable spot right now. As in, you can start fine-tuning it from here. I’d still keep an eye on the infill tho, bc that’s where it seemed to be having more trouble. Gyroid is actually a more brutal infill pattern because the print head is constantly accelerating. If it works with gyroid it should work with other patterns

Thanks for the help

The 2nd one looked better 260deg max and 50% speed didn't try and separate as bad as that one.
