Paint is still curing, there's a bit of orange peel but as a first attempt I am very happy with the results. You can also see from the picture that the top surface has much less orange peel then the vertical walls. I am assuming that's due to the angle at which I let the paint dry, but if you know the exact reason please let me know.
The only thing left to do know is to (maybe) to clearcoat it so that I can potentially buff and polish it later on. Do I need wet send before applying the clearcoat?

I would do a quick wet sand, something like 800 or 1000 grit and then hit it with clear, only wet sand a little as I think the clear will correct most of the orange peel, it looks good.
