currently fixing up a refurbished ender 3 and trying a 1.0 nozzle that seems to clog a bit more frequently then I expected. there some specific settings that are recommend with larger nozzles?
after about 20 minutes of printing the machine will keep going and no filament gets pushed out

Have you change the slicer settings for nozzle size

yeah too fast, you need to slow it down

#

try 30mm/s

#

1mm nozzle has 15times more filament to be melted than 0.4mm nozzle

#

your printer cant melt the filament fast enough which cause underextrusion and clog

#

either slow the print speed or increase the nozzle temp.
in this case i recommend slowing down the print speed, as your bowden tube cant handle high temperature very well
