It might be a power issue
Mabye I’ll try a different outlet or something
Does it have a filament run out sensor?
Yes
It just paused my print saying add filament when there’s filament in it
Well I’m no genius but all signs point towards that. Either the board, sensor or an electrical connection is loose.
Hmmm how would I go about fixing that?
I would start with the cheapest of the 3. Check all connections for the filament sensor and wiring. From sensor to board. Next the sensor.
But hopefully one of the vets can jump in to confirm my theory.
@stable surge @wheat meteor
Filament has room to go@above the sensor and trigger a false positive
This will fix it
Or just remove it and tape the sensor shut.
Yeah one thing I noticed is that on the filament sensor it’s been worn down because of the filament gliding along the plastic it’s almost broken through
Honestly on two of mine I just have it off and taped shut. Its@never saved a print. The bed cools and you have to start it again anyhow.
What part do you tape shut?
Take the sensor cover off you’ll see. It’s a switch.
Well I was in the ball park, one day I’ll be a vet like @stable surge
You’re learning. I’m learning. We all are.
Need to make more mistakes to learn. That’s the key 😂
