the servo arms move open and even if i put something heavy on it like a roll of eletrical tape it opens but the faceplate itself wont budge

It’s just being very buggy like stops moving randomly unless if I replug it
And can now bring the plate up but then get stuck and doesn’t come down

could it be an issue with the placement of your guide arms not allowing the face plate move down

id see if you can lift the face plate up and down by hand while its all together if your servos will allow yo to move them like that because then you'll know if they should be able to move it or not

It seems like it’s getting stuck right at the top
Like when the arms go straight up it looks like the arms are pushing to much against it
But it I lower the entire mount it a little it works kinda but then doesn’t work on the bottom

may be one of those things where there just the right spot to mount the arms and there just not quite in that spot so may need moving ever so slightly

How would you suggest mounting it?
Because I was gonna solder the plastic to weld it on but finding the exact position is hard by holding it by hand and tape
